Project summary

The aim of this work is the study and implementation of algorithms for image reconstruction of projection data CT scanners using graphics accelerators.

Results

Theoretical approaches to solving this problem and several serial and parallel algorithms were considered in the paper. Some discrete methods were implemented. Parallel algorithms are modified for use on the GPU and add a priori information. In addition, the module is implemented that allows simulating the projection data, to construct a system of equations for the discrete task and to calculate the angles necessary for the continuous task.
