Magister coursework:

Use heterogeneous computing in models of bio neural networks

The goal of coursework was overview of present models functioning bio neuron networks. 2 models of such functioning were viewed in this work: deterministic (description of every stage with using system of ordinary differential equations) and probability (based on the theory of random processes). The first model was taken as a base. Every stage of such functioning was studied; moreover it was explored on a subject of parallel computing capability. During of coursework execution were offered variants how to speed up difficult stages of modeling using CUDA and OpenCL technologies. Further theme development is related with more detailed analysis one of alternative functioning models (in part probabilistic) and also improving of its quality.
